Autostructuration of fuzzy systems by rules sensitivity analysis
نویسنده
چکیده
We present a destructive (pruning) method aiming at gradually nding the appropriate number of rules in the case of fuzzy models. A particular attention has been paid to Takagi–Sugeno fuzzy systems (TS) for the problem of functions approximation. The proposed system can be seen as a generalization of the conventional TS system and allows to evaluate the importance of one particular rule in the inference process. The advantage of our approach has been put in light on two well-known benchmarks related to the eld of chaotic time series forecasting. We also study and compare possible local and global learning strategies for these systems in terms of readability and performance. c © 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.

Fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) process is a vital refinery process which majorly produces gasoline. In this research, a hybrid algorithm which was constituted of Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) and firefly optimization algorithm was developed to model the process and optimize the operating conditions. To conduct the research, industrial data of Abadan refinery FCC process were car...
متن کاملCost Analysis of Fuzzy Queuing Systems
Regarding the fact that getting a suitable combination of the human resources and service stations is one of the important issues in the most service and manufacturing environments, In this paper, we have studied the two models of planning queuing systems and its effect on the cost of the each system by using two fuzzy queuing models of M/M/1 and M/E2/1. In the first section, we have compar...
متن کاملA QUADRATIC MARGIN-BASED MODEL FOR WEIGHTING FUZZY CLASSIFICATION RULES INSPIRED BY SUPPORT VECTOR MACHINES
Recently, tuning the weights of the rules in Fuzzy Rule-Base Classification Systems is researched in order to improve the accuracy of classification. In this paper, a margin-based optimization model, inspired by Support Vector Machine classifiers, is proposed to compute these fuzzy rule weights. This approach not only considers both accuracy and generalization criteria in a single objective fu...
متن کاملAn efficient approach for availability analysis through fuzzy differential equations and particle swarm optimization
This article formulates a new technique for behavior analysis of systems through fuzzy Kolmogorov's differential equations and Particle Swarm Optimization. For handling the uncertainty in data, differential equations have been formulated by Markov modeling of system in fuzzy environment. First solution of these derived fuzzy Kolmogorov's differential equations has been found by Runge-Kutta four...
